A (Brush)Stroke of Genius!

A couple of posts ago I told you girlies about my recent Avon Haul and that I'd be doing reviews!

My first review is for the Avon Foundation Brush I purchased and I'm in love with it! It is really superb! It has very very soft bristles which makes putting on liquid foundation that much easier, making it appear flawless! This is definately the best foundation brush I have tried and in my opinion I find it much better and easier to use than makeup sponges! It also comes in a plastic case which is perfect for keeping the brush in shape when on the move! A definate must-buy!

What are everyone else's preferences when it comes to applying foundation? Leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts!

Until Pay Day......

After one of my frequent trips to Superdrug with only a £1 to my name and in desperate need of some lip balm, I managed to find a brill lip balm for only 79p!! I thought I'd give it a go as I had nothing else (and no other money) to use. I got the 'Little Green Tin' from the range which comes in 3 colours and 3 different scents and mine was in yummy apple! It was enriched with Aloe Vera which made my lips soft straight away and I found I didn't need to keep re-applying as I sometimes have to do with cheaper lip balms. I also thought it did the same job as Vaseline which at around £1 more expensive, I definately have the better deal! I will probably try the other 2 in the range when this one runs out but I don't feel I need to replace this with any other more expensive product. At 79p you can't go wrong!

Anyone got any lip balms they can't be without? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Plump It Up!

I'm never sure if lip plumping glosses actually work but I was pleasantly surprised when I bought Sally Hansen's Lip Inflation in Sheer Blush. As soon as I put in on I instantly feel the tingly sensation of it working and my lips do seem a lot fuller and plumper whilst also leaving a gorgeous tint to my lips! Another good thing about Lip Inflation is that it smells of strawberry and cream Campinos! (remember those anyone?!) It's really easy and smooth to apply and doesn't feel sticky or dry my lips out. I really love this product, and would definately recommend trying it out!

Anyone got any glosses that they can't live without? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Here Are A Few Of My Favourite Things.....!

Hey lovelies! My sister May and I thought it was about time we did another collaborative post and both thought it would be an awesome idea to talk about our top 10 favourite looks!

Here are my top 5 Favourite in no particular order:

Nude Eyes – I like using Too Faced, New Romance Face Palette to achieve this look.

High Gloss Lips – I love glossy lips. I like to use Estee Lauder Pearl an everyday gloss.

English Rose – to get a subtle English Rose blush look, I like to use Benefit’s Dandelion.

Shimmery Eyeshadow – I love all things sparkly! I use Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol II eyeshadows to get this look.

Plum Lips – for a rich, dramatic look I like to use Benefit’s Ms. Behavin’.

Thanks for reading!

My Dirty Secret....

I love getting my hands on time saving products particularly dry shampoo. I usually use Batise but recently I have been using Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo. You get 300ml for around £10 but depending on what store you go to it can vary in price. The can has lasted me for ages! I don't need to use a lot to acheive the desired result of fresh, clean smelling hair! It's not as white and powdery as Batiste and it has a lovely fruity smell! I also really love the packaging with this product!

I would definately recommend using this product as it does last for ages, you don't need to use very much and it keeps your hair looking fresh and awesome!

Roll Up For Garnier Eye Roll On!

I sometimes find it a bit of a mission to find an under-eye cream that actually works! Many I have found just mask dark circles leaving a white residue under the eye. So whilst scanning around I came across the Garnier Eye Roll On and I have been using it for ages, I wouldn't swap it for any other type of under eye product! What I liked about Garnier Eye Roll On was that it wasn't a cream and I didn't have to 'dab' under the eyes, it is a roll-on so it is so effortless and is easy to use to 'wake-up' tired looking eyes, especially on the move. It is a clear solution so it's never obvious that you have used it and the roll on effect instantly soothes, refreshes and hydrates your eyes. I really love using this product because it is so handy to use and I actually got results! It didn't work overnight but after about a week or so I did see the difference. I buy mine from Boots at £9.99 and I find it does a much better job than other more expensive brands!

They have now brought out a new tinted eye roll on so it would be interesting to see if anyone has tried that one? Leave a comment and let me know what you thought!
